Mission
CodeMENA is a program of the Non-Profit organization WoMENAIT, designed as a tuition-free coding school for MENA women and gender diverse adults. We serve underrepresented minorities and members of the LGBTQIA+ community of MENA descent living in North America.
CodeMENA software engineers are skilled, confident, and work-tested; the graduates are experienced in practical, team-based software development and learning new technology rapidly.
Diverse teams create more effective work cultures and innovative products. CodeMENA advocates for and supports our students, alums, and partners to build healthy, equitable environments and more inclusive tech industry.
Program
CodeMENA's highly immersive, tuition-free program combines remote training and a paid internship to teach our students computer science fundamentals in order to become software developers. CodeMENA's core values are building and contributing to a supportive community and enable MENA Women decent by creating and advocating for inclusivity all within the tech industry.
